Longwy

Longwy is a town in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department, located a few kilometres from the Belgium border. Vauban fortified the town during the reign of King Louis XIV of France. In 2008, the "ville neuve" was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as part of the "Fortifications of Vauban" group.
