opened in 1879, is a Grade II Listed Building adjacent to St
Leonard’s Church. The Town Hall clock has faces on only
three sides as the residents of South Loftus were reluctant to
contribute to the cost. The church is dedicated to St. Leonard.
There is limited car parking available nearby in Loftus Market
Place and at the public Car Park at South View. Loftus is 9 miles
from Guisborough and 12 miles
