 Loch Long is a body of water in Argyll
and Bute. The sea loch extends from the Firth of Clyde at its
southwestern end. It measures approximately 20 miles in length,
with a width of between one and two miles. |

- Sport - The village of Arrochar on Loch
Long is located at the foot of the Arrochar Alps, making it ideal
for hill walking and climbing, espacially on Ben Arthur, otherwise
known as "The Cobbler". The loch is a popular area
for sport diving. |

- Shopping - Arrochar has a post office,
church and a public school. There's at least one good pub / restaurant
in Arrochar. There are several tourist shops. |
