Llangefni lies at the centre of the island on the River Cefni
and is home to the Oriel
Ynys Môn museum. The museum is a tour of the history
of Anglesey and houses a collection of the works of the wildlife
artist Charles Tunnicliffe who spent much of his life drawing
and painting in the area. There is a livestock market on Wednesdays
and an open-air market on Thursdays and Saturdays. Facilities
include a leisure centre, a nine hole golf course and a little
