This eastern region of England
comprises low rolling hills and small market towns, with cobbled
streets and stone - built houses with red tiled roofs. In the
south - east of the county are the Lincolnshire Fens, fertile
agricultural land reclaimed from the sea.
Lincoln is an interesting
city to visit, with a compact medieval centre of narrow, winding
streets and a magnificent 900 year old Cathedral.
The east coast seaside resorts
attract holiday - makers with Skegness a classic favourite.
On the bay known as the
Wash lies Boston, a major port in the Middle Ages.
