Camera Obscura, Kirrie Hill, Kirriemuir, Angus.
Tel (01575) 572646. At the top of Kirriemuir Hill is a camera
obscura, which offers a panorama of the surrounding Strathmore
countryside and the glens to the north. There are only three
of these fascinating installations still remaining in Scotland.
This one was given to the community of Kirriemuir by J M Barrie,
the creator of Peter Pan, after he was honoured with the freedom
of the town in 1930. Location:
