Stour Farm

Chartham is mentioned in historical records as far back as 871. The village green is a five minute walk from Stour Farm. Here are some of Chartham’s oldest buildings. Half-timbered Bedford House was built in 1420. Forge house in the 18th century. The Kings Head Inn is at least 500 years old.

The Barn Studio is a cosy self-catering unit with twin bedroom and shower room/WC and a separate living/dining room with kitchen facilities. Furnished to a high standard, the Studio makes an excellent base for exploring the Garden of England and day trips to London, France and Belgium are easily manageable.

The Barn Studio is let through English Country Cottages, but please check availability, as it is often used on a B & B basis when not booked by ECC.
