Chartham is mentioned in historical records as far back as 871. The village green is a five minute walk from Stour Farm. Here are some of Chartham’s oldest buildings. Half-timbered Bedford House was built in 1420. Forge house in the 18th century. The Kings Head Inn is at least 500 years old.
 
We offer two en-suite (shower/WC) double bedrooms. Both have 5 foot wide double beds and are furnished to a high standard. They also have tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV, hairdryer and security box.
 
There is ample private parking, and secure storage for bikes or other equipment.
 
A full English breakfast is cooked to order and served in the breakfast room or weather permitting, on the sun terrace overlooking the river.
