- Oast Cottage
-
- Oast Cottage is an 18th Century
property, originally an Oast House for the drying of hops used
in the manufacture of beer.
-
- Whilst unfortunately little
of the oast drying tower still stands, many fine old period cottage
features remain such as beams and fireplaces.
-
- On arrival at Oast Cottage
you will be warmly greeted and offered complimentary tea, coffee
and biscuits possibly taken in the attractive garden - weather
permitting!
-
- Plenty of off-road parking
is available and in some circumstances it is possible to leave
your vehicle while you visit London by train.
|
 |
 |
- Breakfast can be continental
with croissants and home made preserves or traditional full English
cooked breakfast.
-
- The accomodation consists of
an en suite family room (one double and one single bed) and one
twin-bedded room with hand wash basin and shaving facilities
plus private bathroom.
-
- All rooms are attractively
designed with colour co-ordinated fabrics and wallpapers pleasingly
and tastfully furnished.
|
- Location
-
- Situated in the attractive
village of Kingston nestling in the heart of the beautiful Kent
countryside, the cottage is ideally situated for easy access
to London (90 mins), Dover Docks (20 mins), the Channel Tunnel
(25 mins), the Port of Ramsgate (35 mins), and the Cathedral
City of Canterbury (10 mins).
-
- There are also a number of
attractive villages and pretty pubs and restaurants within a
few minutes drive.
