Welcome to our page of accommodation in Kenilworth!
Kenilworth is situated 95 miles N.W. of London, and about
five miles from Warwick. It is a delightful town, with lots of
historical buildings and fascinating Old Town. There are plenty
of restaurants, shops and Pub's for the visitor to enjoy. The
range of retailers covers specialist gifts, everything for the
home such as specialist picture shops and Galleries and furniture,
farm shops and traditional butchers, as well as a wide range
of convenience stores. The town also has a wide range of markets
including the general retail market that takes place every Thursday,
the Farmers Market that takes place every second Saturday
of the month, plus occasional Craft and Garden Markets throughout
the town centre. Bridge Street and High Street, form the east
and north sides of Abbey Fields. Numerous examples of fine listed
buildings can be found here all in excellent condition. Kenilworth
Castle was established by Geoffrey de Clinton, Chamberlain to
Henry I, in about 1122, and was painted by Turner. The great
stone walls are up to 20 feet thick. |
