Location: about 20 kms from
Kapfenberg. In a sunny location, on the south flank of
the "Steirische Seeberg" with a beautiful view on the
"Hochschwab" (2200m), lies holiday house Meister (85m2).
The house is set on a quiet spot, on the edge of a forest. This
a place to enjoy the wonderful nature. Inside, the decoration
is warm with some typical elements, such as the wooden bed with
Austrian paint decoration.
Winter in the Alps is a special experience every year.
During the white months, the ski-area of Seeberg offers diverse
activities. There are ski-lessons for young and old, and you
can replace your muscle pain with culinary delights in the evening.
From your house, you are only 50 meters away from the nearest
cross-country track and you can ski on the "Seeberg"
(1250m altitude, 3 lifts), in Turnau (1250m, 4 lifts) or in Aflenz
(1800m, 8 lifts). After a day of active snow-fun, you can visit
the thermal resort of Aflenz. Here body and mind can re-energize
in the crystal-clear water and float around in the hot springs.
Skiing pleasure and relaxation is guaranteed in Steiermark!
In summer, hikers, climbers and nature-lovers will
have plenty of choice for outdoor activities. At about 5 km from
the house, there are some cool mountain ponds for lovely swimming.
You mustn't skip the city of Graz, 'cultural capital of 2003'
, which is only 1 hour away. Or what aboout the illustrious capital
Vienna? The city where Sissi lived in the splendid Schloss Schönbrunn,
or the 'Prater ', the oldest fair in Europe combined with great
cups of Wiener Melange... you can reach Vienna from Haus Meister
in 1,5 hours.
