of Skye! The Isle of Skye has long been a favourite of climbers
and walkers. Others will enjoy Skye's coastline. Skye is renowned
for its natural beauty, history and wildlife which abounds on
the Island, with birds from the tiny Goldcrest to magnificent
Golden Eagle, mammals from Pygmy Shrew to Red Deer and fish from
Saithe to Salmon. Otters play on the shore. Skye provides a habitat
for many wild flowers. Two famous castles - Eilean Donan &
Dunvegan Castle can be visited. Whisky lovers should visit the
island's only Distillery - Talisker, located in Carbost on the
