Attractions Peel Castle, Isle of Man. The remains of an 11th century Viking castle with the outer walls remain intact. It stands on St Patrick's Isle which is connected to Peel by a causeway. The Castle is said to be haunted by Moddey Doo or the Black Dog ghost. Owned by Manx National Heritage and open to visitors. Location: On the outskirts of Peel.
