	Pitmedden Garden, Ellon, Aberdeenshire, AB41 7PD. Tel: 01651 842352. The Garden was laid out in 1675 by Pitmedden's first baronet, Sir Alexander Seton, and was re-created by the National Trust for Scotland in the 1950s. Pitmedden features over 5 miles of box hedging arranged in intricate patterns to form six parterres, filled with some 40,000 plants bursting with colour in the summer months. About 9 miles northeast of Inverurie.
	Carnegie Inverurie Museum, The Square, Inverurie AB51 3SN. Tel: 01771 622906. A local history museum, collections also include archaeological material and Eskimo carvings of international importance. There is a display of railway (GNSR) memorabilia and temporary exhibitions change regularly. Location: In the centre of Inverurie.
	Brandsbutt Pictish Stone, Inverurie. The Brandsbutt Stone was found in pieces and built into a drystane dyke, it has been restored and now sits in a housing estate in Inverurie. It is dated between 500AD and 900AD. The position of the original Circle is now marked by a kerbstone ring. A sign can be seen from the A96 at Inverurie showing the stone's whereabouts. Location: On the outskirts of Inverurie.
