The
Hythe hotels listed below are either in the town or we
have given a rough guide as to how far they are from Hythe. We
hope you enjoy your stay and find your ideal accommodation.
Hythe is a sedate seaside resort bisected
by the disused waterway of the Royal Military Canal. Along the
coast, the sweep of beach is punctuated by Martello Towers, part
of the chain of 74 defensive citadels built in the early 19th
century. In the old town area of Hythe are quiet alleyways and
signs to the crypt of the 11th century St Leonard's church, home
to a macabre collection of bones and skulls. The world's smallest
public railway, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, is a
15- inch -gauge line which runs the 14 miles from Hythe to Dungeness.
