Dufftown golf club's 18 hole course is to be found one mile south of Dufftown on the B9009. 	Balvenie Castle, Glen Fiddich, Dufftown, Banffshire AB55. Tel: 01340 820 121. Balvenie is a castle of enclosure, with a massive 13th century curtain wall, built in a strategically significant position in the Glen. It was first owned by the powerful Comyn Earls of Buchan, then added to in the 15th and 16th centuries. The property is managed by Historic Scotland. Location: On the outskirts of Dufftown.

	Ladycroft Agricultural Museum, a mile east of Archiestown, displays horse-drawn vehicles, distinctive farm tools. About 7 miles northwest of Dufftown.

	The Keith and Dufftown Railway is an eleven mile line linking the World's Malt Whisky Capital, Dufftown, to the market town of Keith.
