Holt is a most attractive small market town in North Norfolk, with a main street lined by Georgian buildings. It has a busy market on Thursdays. Holt station (photo) is currently the western terminus of the North Norfolk Railway, situated on the outskirts of the town. 	The Wells & Walsingham Light Railway. Visit the longest 10¼" narrow gauge steam railway in the world and see the unique Garratt locomotive "Norfolk Hero" which was especially built for this line. Enjoy our timetable service from the seaside and harbour town of Wells to the picturesque town of Walsingham. Halts at Warham St Mary and Wighton. The station at Wells has a restored signal box where refreshments and souvenirs are available.
