Quietly nestling in the lovely little rustic village of Dinnet, near Ballater, in the heart of Royal Deeside, the hotel aims to provide exceptional value for money, in both levels of service and products offered, in this area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Hollytree Tavern is a separate building, located at the rear of the hotel and serves as a traditional "Scottish Pub".
Here you will meet walkers and skiers returning from the hills and huddled in front of the fire, the ghillies and their fishers, telling of the one that got away, or the locals enjoying a pint and a bit of gossip!!

The Hollytree has a huge screen TV with sky sports, pool table, darts, and juke box. It also hosts live Scottish music on certain days.
Our elegantly decorated restaurant was recently refurbished to give a more formal, yet relaxed environment, in which to enjoy our menus.

There is also an open fire, which, together with the candlelit tables, gives the ideal venue for a romantic meal or special occasion.
The tastefully decorated, well appointed bedrooms comprise of single, double, family and twins, with the majority being en-suite.
Furthermore, there is a 4-poster room with adjoining sauna and Jacuzzi available to hire separately.
All have colour TV and tea & coffee making facilities and have recently had central heating installed.
