in Henfield! Henfield village is a pleasant rural
village in West Sussex with a wide selection of shops, restaurants
& pubs. Henfield Museum exhibits a range of early fossils
and flint implements, from Medieval to Victorian periods. Household
objects and many farm tools are on display and a horse-drawn
plough together with a mid-Victorian pump stand outside. There
is a large collection of local paintings and photographs showing
village churches, farmhouses, country houses, cottages and rural
lanes. The Museum also has a "penny farthing" bicycle.
Henfield is 8 miles north of Brighton
& Hove and 8 miles north of Worthing. |
