Hayling
Island harbours. Hayling Island is situated between the harbours
of Chichester and Langstone Harbour, both tidal. This provides
a haven for local and migrating wildlife with their shallow waters
mud flats. The areas alond the shore can be dangerous with a
thick, sucking mud just beneath the surface. It is nonetheless
a beautiful place. The island is internationally renowned for
Sailing and boardsailing. |
