Welcome
to our page of bed and breakfast in Frodsham! Frodsham
is a small market town in the county of Cheshire in North West
England. Approximately 4 miles west of Runcorn, Cheshire and
just west of the River Weaver, it overlooks the River Mersey
estuary. In the medieval period it was an important borough and
port belonging to the earls of Chester. Frodsham, like the neighbouring
village Helsby, has a hill overlooking the Mersey Estuary which
is popular with walkers.
Frodsham is regarded as the best surviving
example of a planned medieval town in Cheshire with burgage plots
(narrow strips of land) lining the north side of Main Street
and on Church Street.
