 Frodsham is in the pastoral county of Cheshire, with
the broad fertile meadows of the Cheshire Plain, country manor
houses and the historic county town of Chester. It is bordered
by Merseyside and Greater Manchester to the north, Derbyshire
to the east, Staffordshire and Shropshire to the south, and Flintshire
and Wrexham in Wales to the west. It is a county of rolling green
countryside, half-timbered little towns and villages, and dairy
farms producing the delicious, crumbly, white Cheshire cheese. |

Norton Priory Museum & Gardens is an independent museum,
established in 1975 to care for one of the country's most important
monastic sites, which encompasses in its 38 acres museum galleries,
the ruins of a medieval priory and a formal Walled Garden. One
of the largest excavated monastic sites in Europe. Norton Priory
Museum & Gardens are open every day from 12 noon and are
