Frampton on Severn lies about 10 miles
south of Gloucester on the eastern side of the River Severn.
The Green in Frampton on Severn is said to be the longest village
green in the country, and is about 22 acres in size. Cricket
is played on the Green, and you can sit in the summer and watch
from one of two pubs. Nearby is the sailing club, which is idyllically
set on an old gravel pit with 40 acres of available sailing area.
