suite - ideal for an airport stopover, the business man looking
for a Monday-Friday base, or a relaxed weekend break

- The accommodation comprises
each B & B suite with: private sitting room with TV/Video,
fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Bedroom with hairdryer,
clock-radio and ensuite shower room.

- All furniture and fittings
are colour coordinated and to a high standard. There is one
ground floor suite with wheel -chair access and a family room
that sleeps 4.

- A Continental breakfast is
taken at the breakfast table in your own room - no need to rush
to dress for breakfast - ideal for early departures - just leave
the key in the box when you leave.

- The suites are housed in a
converted stable block with a courtyard aspect to one side and
2 1/2 acre meadow to the other.
- They are accessed from a west-facing
conservatory where you will find seating to enjoy the wonderful
sunsets that Thaxted has to offer also a supply of books and
videos.
Totmans Farm (no longer a working farm) stands on the brow of
the hill at the southern end of Thaxted with lovely views over
open country including our cathedral-like church and windmill.
Whatever the reason for your visit you can be sure of a warm
and comfortable stay at Thaxted Bed & Breakfast.

- For the convenience of our
guests we operate a no smoking policy throughout the B &
B. If this policy offends we apologise but the majority of our
visitors appreciate a non-smoking environment.
Pets are not allowed www.duckendfarmkennels.co.uk is 5 minutes
away.

- Check-in time is from 2 p.m.
onwards with late arrivals by special arrangement.
- We can sometimes also accommodate
early arrivals - please ask. Check-out time is 10 a.m.

- A credit card number will
secure a booking with a 48 hours cancellation policy when there
will be no charge, less than that and a 30% charge will incur
and for a no-show on the day the full amount will be due.
- Directions to
- Thaxted B & B will be sent
with a confirmation e-mail.

- There are regular buses throughout
the day to take you to Stansted Airport, Saffron Walden, Dunmow
and Bishop's Stortford. We are happy to book a taxi or restaurant
for you.

ancient town of Thaxted within a few minutes walk from pubs,
restaurants,
shops and buses. It is on the brow of the hill at the southern
end of
Thaxted and is surrounded by beautiful Essex countryside and
affords
wonderful views of our magnificent cathedral-like church and
windmill.

(a timber clad conversion) each sleep 4 people
and are mirror-images of each other.

- They are set well back from
the road with ample car parking space. Facing west at the rear
onto meadowland guests are virtually guaranteed glorious sunsets
from their patio.

CD/cassette/radio and door leading to patio and 2 1/2 acre meadow.
- Kitchen with gas hob/electric
fan oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Family
bedroom with double bed and full size bunk beds. Ensuite bathroom.
- Bed linen and towels included
in the price.

and colour coordinated and for your convenience include hair
dryer, iron, vacuum cleaner, games, books and videos.
