Scotlands most beautiful medieval buildings, Elgin Cathedral
is a magnificent ruin, much of which dates back to the 13th century.
Its many outstanding architectural features include the countrys
finest octagonal chapter house. Location: In the centre of Elgin. |

The
Moray Motor Museum , Elgin. Housed in converted mill buildings
at Bridge Street, the museum is home to a collection of vintage
motor cars and motorcycles. Sports cars from the 1950's, motorcycles
from the 1930's to the present and various bicycles form the
main collection. A 1928 Rolls Royce Phantom 1 is the main attraction
of the museum. It also features an old water mill, dating back
to 1230, which has been fully restored and is now in full working

For five centuries, Spynie Palace was the residence of the Bishops
of Moray. The beauty of the surroundings and the substantial
wildlife and birdsong make the Palace a wonderful place to visit.
