Since opening the doors in July 2007,
the team at La Bécasse has been earning awards and accolades.
A prestigious Michelin Star was awarded in January 2009...sample
menu: Duck leg and lentil salad, shallot and English mustard
dressing, confit duck egg yolk. Parsnip and vanilla veloute,
pan fried scallop, saffron poached quince, tarragon. Local game
pithivier, braised chestnuts,
parsnips roasted with curry and lime, locally picked blackberries.
Locally shot partridge, savoy cabbage, butternut squash, Amaretti
biscuit, sage and smoked bacon. Seared organic Teriyaki salmon,
pak-choi, sweet and sour peppers, prawn and sesame dumpling,
