Dunstable lies on the ancient Roman
road of Watling Street, which is the modern A5 trunk road. Dunstable
Priory, the main church in Dunstable, dates back to the Norman
Conquest. The town has excellent major road and motorway links,
national rail and international air services in Luton, approximately
five miles away from the Dunstable town centre. Commanding outstanding
views over the Vale of Aylesbury and along the Chiltern Ridge,
Whipsnade and Dunstable Downs comprise 510 acres of grassland
and farmland. This open space offers walking, kite-flying and
