Welcome to our page of information, attractions
and places of interest around Dingle. The Dingle hotels
listed below are either in the town or we have given a rough
guide as to how far they are from Dingle. The Republic of Ireland
is bound to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the east is the
Irish Sea which reconnects to the ocean via the southwest with
St. George's Channel and the Celtic Sea. The Republic of Ireland
has 26 counties, and five cities Dublin, Cork, Galway,
Limerick, and Waterford. The west-coast of Ireland features cliffs,
hills and low mountains. The centre of the country is flat with
large areas of bogland. We hope you enjoy your stay and find
your ideal accommodation from our list of Dingle hotels.
Dingle is a growing town in County
Kerry in the Republic of Ireland, on the Atlantic coast some
50 km west-south-west of Tralee and 80 km west-north-west of
Killarney. The town is situated on a natural harbour below Slievanea
mountain on the large Dingle peninsula, which lies south of the
River Shannon and north of the Ring of Kerry. From earliest times
the town has maintained an important trading position.
