- Woodlands Guest House
-
- Situated on high ground it
overlooks Summerhouse Hill and the unspoilt wooded valley of
the West Lyn river.
-
- Woodlands has a choice of single,
double and twin rooms all with colour TV, radio and tea/coffee
making facilities. Most rooms are particularly spacious, fully
ensuite and have glorious views across the valley.
- The hotel is centrally heated
throughout and is therefore ideal for spring and autumn breaks.
- There is a cosy sitting room
where the guests can relax in front of the log fire in the cooler
months. The sun lounge, with its beautiful outlook across the
valley, is an ideal place to enjoy a drink from the well stocked
bar.

Attractions Around Lynton and Lynmouth. The Victorians christened
the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth "The little Switzerland
of England" because of the romantic scenery. In more recent
times the villages have become known as the place where "Exmoor
meets the sea".
-
- Lynton is a friendly village
with tea-rooms, restaurants, pubs, churches, shops and a museum.
The famous cliff railway links the two villages of Lynton and
Lynmouth and is a novel way of getting from one to the other.
