- Pillowery Park
-
- Pillowery Park Bed and Breakfast

B&B by him & his wife Sylvia. It is named after the Tithe
Map Field name in which it stands in Higher Clovelly.

the countryside makes Pillowery Park the perfect setting for
your stay in North Devon.
-
- The high quality decor &
furnishings set this B&B in the top class.

- Comfort - a
top priority

the most comfortable say possible:
-
- High insulation levels Solar
panels on the roof
- Underfloor heating
Mains pressure showers - like top hotels
Rainwater flushed toilets
Environmentally friendly
|
- The house is a one off design
by Chris with a large irregular entrance hall leading to a spacious
landing with vaulted ceiling and roof windows.
-
- He started working life as
a chef, but preferred to be working in the open air and so became
a builder!
-
- After a night in one of our
comfortable beds, an invigorating shower and one of Chriss
great English breakfasts with home made jam and bread the unique
village of Clovelly will need a visit, perhaps by the footpath
20 minutes across the fields and down Wrinkleberry Lane.
|
 |
 |
- There is a baby grand piano
in the dining room which guests are encouraged to play.
- Also, as Chris is one of the
Church Wardens at All Saints Church Clovelly, he can arrange
for visitors to play the 1889 tracker organ - especially if there
is a donation to Church funds!
-
- We are open for most of the
year - closed for Christmas, but are glad to receive visitors
over New Year.
The house is strictly Non Smoking and we do not have facilities
for pets
|
- Our rooms
All bedrooms are on the first floor and have tea and coffee making
facilities, a colour television, hair dryer and space for a travel
cot [one of which can be provided] however, there is insufficient
room for an extra bed for young child.
-
- Double en-suite
The double en-suite bedroom looks over green fields to the Bristol
Channel and Bideford Bay - and South Wales on a good day!
-
- Twin bedded
rooms
Two twin bedded rooms, both with their own separate private shower
rooms
|
 |
 |
- The Dining
room
The dining room can be used during the evening by guests and,
if the piano is not being played, there is a television and video
player and lots of books.
-
- Other facilities
and information
Ironing facilities are available and Chris is happy for guests
to use his PC to check their emails.
