Crianlarich attractions |

 The village of Crianlarich is on the A82, Glasgow
to Fort William road, about 60 miles north of Glasgow. It lies
at the junction of two of the main routes from the lowlands to
the north west highlands. Crianlarich is an ideal place from
which to tour Perthshire, the Trossachs, Loch Lomond, Oban and
the Isles, Glencoe, the North West Highlands and the Hebrides.
Crianlarich is a small but busy village, with a shop and post

 The West
Highland Way is 152km (95 miles) long.
The walk links Milngavie to Fort William - from the outskirts
of Scotland’s largest city to the foot of its highest mountain,
following the shores of its largest freshwater loch. Around 50,000

Ben
More (1174 metres) rises impressively above Glen Dochart just
east of Crianlarich and is the highest mountain south of Strath
Tay and one of the most imposing in the southern highlands. The
sweep of its northern slopes rising a thousand metres from glen
to summit are very obvious and a challenge to hillwalkers. The
traverse of Ben More and its equally fine southern twin, Stob
Binnein (1165 metres) is one of the classic hillwalks in the
southern highlands. About 3 miles east of Crianlarich. |
