Welcome to our page of accommodation in Craven
Arms! Craven Arms is known as the Gateway to the Marches.
Historically, the town grew into an important frontier trading
post between Wales and England. Surrounded by hills, Craven Arms
is ideal for walking and is home of the Shropshire Hills Discovery
Centre. Stokesay Castle is the finest and best preserved 13th
century fortified manor house in England. It nestles in peaceful
countryside near the Welsh border, with its timber framed Jacobean
gatehouse and the nearby Parish Church. The Great hall still
retains its original medieval staircase. Craven Arms is 7 miles
north of Ludlow & 7 miles south
of Church Stretton. |
