Cowbridge is an historic market town with town walls and a church. Market every Tuesday. Cowbridge also holds a Farmers Market on the first Saturday of each month. David Lloyd George was a Freeman of the town. In 1991 Cowbridge was twinned with Clisson in the near Nantes in France.
