- the - Water in the Cotswolds to Henley - on - Thames in the
Chilterns.
To the south and west are Wiltshire and Avon,
with wonderful rolling chalk downs, important prehistoric sites

with the Cotswolds characterised by charming villages of mellow
stone, built in folds between the rolling wolds.
