The Cirencester hotels listed below are either
in the town or we have given a rough guide as to how far they
are from Cirencester. We hope you enjoy your stay and find your
ideal accommodation.
Cirencester is situated in the heart
of the Cotswolds. It is famous for its Roman history, and its
Corinium Museum (01285 655 611) is now open after a two year
major refurbishment, funded by Cotswold District Council and
the Heritage Lottery Fund. Cirencester is twinned with Itzehoe
in Germany. The town has plenty to offer the visitor, the main
shopping areas are around the Market Place and Castle Street,
as well as Bishops Walk, a small covered area. The popular Charter
Market is held in the Market Place on Mondays and Fridays each
week and is one of the oldest charter markets in the country.
