is an attractive and thriving market town situated on the river
Waveney with attractions including the ruins of Bigod's Castle
with its newly opened Visitor's Centre. The Fisher Theatre, a
19th century building can be found in Broad Street. Holy Trinity
Church is the oldest building in the town with it's round Norman
tower. Bungay has many individual and specialist shops, including
a wealth of antique shops. Bungay also offers the visitor many
fine restaurants, coffee shops, cafes and bars. Bungay has its
own indoor swimming pool. There are 3 special market days each
