The Bridgnorth hotels listed below are either
in the town or we have given a rough guide as to how far they
are from Bridgnorth. We hope you enjoy your stay and find your
ideal accommodation.
Bridgnorth is located in the county
of Shropshire, close to the Welsh border. The river Severn divides
Bridgnorth into High Town and Low Town, the two being linked
by sets of ancient steps and a Victorian funicular, opened in
1892, which climbs from the Severn to the high town. In the town
the Town Hall is a main feature of the High Street. There are
shops, pubs, take-aways, cafes and restaurants and three markets
- a livestock market, a street market and a permanent indoor
market. The streets of Bridgnorth boast fine houses and cottages
and the remains of a Friary. Bridgnorth is 10 miles west of Wolverhampton & Stourbridge.
