 From Brackley you can explore the county of Northamptonshire,
an area of rural countryside, hills and woodland, beautifully
preserved villages, magnificent churches and its main towns of
Northampton, Kettering and Corby. The rolling hills make ideal
riding country; Rochingham Salcey and Whittlewood Forests are
popular trails. Lying west of the town of Northampton is Althorp
House, family home and burial place of Diana, Princess of Wales.
The pretty villages of Rockingham, Badly, Fotheringhay, Oundle
and Raunds deserve a visit whilst you are in the county. |
