Blyth is in Northumberland, a county
that borders Cumbria to the west, County Durham to the south,
Tyne and Wear to the southeast, the Scottish Borders to the north
and has nearly 80 miles of North Sea coastline. It is an area
of uncrowded golden sandy beaches, stunning countryside set amongst
two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the rugged Northumberland
National Park. There are more castles in Northumberland than
anywhere else in England and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is
the birthplace of English Christianity. |
