in the 13th century, Blair Castle’s history extends over

to the public in Scotland, and visitors can enjoy the castle,

Killiecrankie
NTS Visitor Centre, Killiecrankie, Pitlochry, PH16 5LG. Tel:
01796 473233. Just to the south of Blair Atholl, the Pass of
Killiecrankie was the site of a famous Jacobite battle in 1689.
The Killiecrankie NTS Visitor Centre tells the story of the battle
and of the local wildlife and vegetation that has led to Killiecrankie
being declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest. About 3 miles
southeast of Blair Atholl. |

smallest distillery, lying in the hills overlooking Pitlochry
from the east. Edradour is the last survivor of the long tradition
