Bed and breakfast in Robin Hood's Bay |
|
Bed and breakfast in Robin Hood's Bay. The lower part
of Robin Hood's Bay is an old village where the cottages and
houses are built very close together, with twisting and narrow
alleys with names such as "The Bolts", "Fisherhead"
and "Tyson's Steps". The pay and display car parks
are at the top of the hill. Permits for longer stays can be obtained
from the Post Office. Parking down the hill is allowed for unloading.
Tide timetables can be found in the village newspaper The
Bayfair. Pub food and drink is available in the bay. There
is also a chip shop, general store, fresh fish shop, and plentiful
second-hand bookshops. Other facilities at the top of the hill.
