Tel: 01225 477785. Around Britain's only hot spring, the Romans
built a magnificent temple and bathing complex that still flows
with natural hot water. Many objects were thrown into the Sacred
Spring as offerings to the goddess, including more than 12,000
Roman coins. Great Bath is the magnificent centrepiece of the
Roman baths is a pool, lined with 45 sheets of lead, and filled
