Bed and breakfast in Bardney |
|
Bed and breakfast in Bardney. BARDNEY
is a relatively undiscovered place. It is a small Lincolnshire
town located in the northern-most part of the Fens half-way between
Lincoln and Horncastle on the east bank of the River Witham,
which flows alongside the village between the city of Lincoln
and the town of Boston. There is a mediaeval 7th century abbey
of which little remains. During the Second World War, Bardney
was an RAF airfield occupied by various squadrons. Bardney is
approx 10 miles east of Lincoln &
6 miles north of Woodhall Spa. |
