- Other information - Ladybower Dam. This
project received objections both locally and nationally because
it involved the flooding of two villages; Ashopton and Derwent.
Derwent village can still be seen in very dry summers. Ladybower
is now a major tourist attraction. About 2 miles from Bamford. |
