Ballachulish
Travel Information
|
Ballachulish, once a ferry point, is
now a pretty little village very much involved in the tourism
of the region. North and South Ballachulish grew around the slipways
from which the ferry crossed Loch Leven from as early as 1730.
A vehicle ferry started to cross the narrows in 1912, but the
service finally disappeared in 1975 when the bridge opened. |
