The Scottish Fisheries Museum, St Ayles, Harbourhead,
Anstruther, Fife KY10 3AB. Tel: 01333 310628. The museum is situated
on the harbour front in Anstruther and tells the story of fishing
in Scotland and its people from earliest times to the present.
It occupies 27,000sq ft including two A listed buildings
a 1724 Merchant house and a 16thC Abbot's lodging. There
is now a covered boatyard and the latest gallery houses a 78
ft Zulu fishing vessel dating from the early 1900's.

Kellie Castle was completed around 1606, once home to the Earls
of Kellie and was restored by the Lorimer family in 1878. The
oldest tower, dating back to 1360, is said to be haunted. Since 1970
Kellie Castle has been in the care of the National Trust for
Scotland. About 5 miles
northwest of Anstruther. |

Walk down the 150m entrance tunnel, through the hermetically
sealed 3 ton blast proof doors into an environment which reveals
