	Alport - Sport - From the village of Alport, there is a 5 mile walk north through the beautiful Lathkill Dale to Monyash, one of the loveliest walks in the Peak District. You can also walk along the banks of the River Bradford from Alport to Youlgreave.

	Alport - Other information - There is an old corn mill next to the weir and the 21 foot breast wheel can be seen at the end of the building furthest from the river. There was lead mining in this ares in the 18th and 19th centuries and there is still much evidence of this today.
