Alford is a small market town with
narrow streets of Geogian and Victorian houses - market days:
Tuesdays and Fridays - in the Lincolnshire Wolds, thirteen miles
north-west of Skegness. The Alford Craft Market promotes the
manufacture of high quality, hand crafted goods in and around
Lincolnshire. There are markets at Easter, Spring Bank Holiday
weekend, throughout the summer months, August Bank Holiday and
Christmas. Alford windmill, 30 metres high and six floors, is
a five sailed mill that is in full working order. Golfers will
find Woodthorpe Hall Golf Club 3 miles north of Alford. Alford
is 13 miles north-west of Skegness
& 8 miles south of Mablethorpe.

of Alford. THE HALF MOON HOTEL & RESTAURANT
has been in the same family for nearly 40 years. A Listed building
with a history going back some 400 years, in a lively social
centre. All of the recently refurbished Hotel en-suite rooms
are Non Smoking. Some of the accommodation is on ground floor
level, with access for the disabled. The full A la Carte Restaurant
seats 50 people and again is non smoking for the comfort of our
customers.....
