Welcome to our page of accommodation in Corbridge!
The village of Corbridge is located in south Northumberland,
16 miles west of Newcastle and 3½ miles east of Hexham.
Corbridge is a peaceful, attractive Border village and stands
high above the Tyne. Antique hunters can obtain a bargain as
they browse around the streets and market squares in Corbridge.There
are only three fortified vicarages in the county, and one of
these is at Corbridge. The bridge at Corbridge is the oldest
of the mediaeval bridges which became derelict by the 17th century,
and was finally replaced in 1674. Corbridge Roman Site excavations
show that there was a settlement here prior to the Roman occupation
of the area, and can be seen to the north-west of the town.
