is a village on the the A5 road in Snowdonia, about 6 miles south
of Bangor and the north Wales coast. It sits in a beautiful,
peaceful valley and offers stunning views of the mountains. The
village once thrived exporting stone and dark blue-green slate.
Most of the buildings in Bethesda are constructed of this same
stone, and have slate roofs. Bethesda offers several pubs. Bethesda
